Juz got to my apartment, would like to share my fun experiences for the past few days.
June 21st Thurs, Day 1
Nothing notewothy, took a therapeutic sia flight to hk and reached my shenzhen hotel at ard 8+ Not that I like SZ that much, but accoms there is almost a third the price of hk's. Saved more than $50 per night.
June 22nd Friday, Day 2
Took train to hk to look for weizheng, the ABN intern. We had lunch at the chui wah cha chang ting, quite famous I heard, affordable and nice. Went to IFC, the tallest building in HK, as can be seen from my photo, tried Krispy Kreme; too sweet for my liking. Dropped by at his place to chill out and then our mini adventure brought us to the HK expo centre, the turtle-like building along the bay. Crossed over to Tsim Sha Tsui for the laser show, "Symphony of Lights"; overrated in my opinion, once is more than enough, waste of time.

Took some photos on the train ride to HK island, pictures of New Territory, residentials there are around 50-60 storeys, the less developed side of HK

Photos that I took while we were on the ferry and along Tsim Sha Tsui. What's the name of the viewing gallery facing HK island? I can't remember.

Photos damn nice rite??? I took one lehz. Just realised that I have talent for it, haaa

June 23rd, Saturday, Day 3
A great way to end my stay in Shenzhen. Met Jo, Qiuxin and their shenzhen intern frens, brought me to luo hu business centre for shopping. The fake stuffs there are........... cheap, real cheap. I shall not divulge too much. They brought me to a hunan restaurant which is rather average, and after that we went to "True Color Bar" which is probably one of the best live band pubs I've ever been to. The bands perform a mixture of Chinese, Canto and English songs, a pubbing experience china-style. Drank quite abit, and it was a good, good way to end my stay here in shenzhen.

The Shenzhen interns, can't see jo in the photo, face covered by Adrian, haha, but that's the only grp photo I have
nice photo rite? just a random photo that I took, but din know it will turn out so nice. Don't mind ahz, jo. hah
The different bands. 4 in total, played classics from Zhao Chuan's "xiao xiao niao", "Hotel California", to contemporary ones like liang jing ru's "yong qi". Can't catch the canto songs though. We stayed till 1+am for the last band, a duo, and they sang really well. Adrian was so mesmerised by the female singer that he jioed her out for supper after the gig. We ended up having Mac and chatted with the singer till 3am.

Last day in SG

Think of it, I'm only leaving for 10 wks, less than 3 months, not like I'm going for a year or something. But dunno y I'm feeling nostalgic... ok.. nm..

Anw, to surmise, had a great 'last' day in SG.

12nn - Met up with Estelle and Shun Hao, a.k.a Mr. Nice Guy ( Nice group mate-cum-fren-cum-boyfriend) at Raffles place for a quick lunch @ BK; Crap abit, chat abt finance stuff, and was gave Estelle a crash course on Banking sector. Wun be seeing her till probably next year, hope that she will bring nice stuff back from Europe though. haha.

2pm - Went back to sch for some gyming, wun get to gym in hk. No gym in my apartment, and there's no $2.50 SSC gym there either.

4pm - Went Suntec with Ziyi, wanted to shop for the essentials like travel pack, toiletries, but we ended up spending 1 hr lazing at food republic; was pretty entertained by her lame jokes and riddles, haha, but if you're reading this, please do feed me with more of ur corny jokes next time round...

7pm - dined with Liping, Julie and Van at din tai feng, went to Harry's @ esplanade after that for some drinks. Had abit of fun... but left early cos I need to rush home to pack. One of them asked me this question, " who will you miss the most when u're there?" hhmmmmm.............. honestly, no one in particular, I guess everyone that matters to me bah, my family, my frens, blahblah. Yah, what you expect? What abt you all? have you all ever thought of that?

I hope i will be able to blog in hk, but I'm not sure if i've the time to. Mainly worried that i'll be bz with my laundry, have to wash lahz, dry lahz, iron ahz... blahblah....
the 2 goldman interns are there already, and they're like having 12-13 hrs workday, from 7am to ard 8pm.... quite scary rite.. they even have to go for companies events like cip over the wkend... ok lahz, but its goldman afterall.
Alright, its 12.02am now, I need to continue with my packing.

Foreword

how, shuai or not? hah. taken at the chinese university of hk

Just a simple blog to share my HK experience and photos with you all. First of all, wanna thank, Victor, Regina, and to a lesser extent, Jh ( He kept cursing me throughout this trip, and yet claimed that he was trying to inspire and motivate me for the assessment centre, errr......) for making this trip possibe. And Tina for setting up this blog:)

Always have the idea that blogging is a girl's thing, quite unmanly to do so..but well... haha... dun think i'll be updating this blog after the trip. There are more important things in life than to be bothered with the nuances of my daily life.

Ok. anw, the photos that in this post are taken on 28th & 29th March when I was there for the assessement centre. Not bad lahz huh, spent less than S$400 on this 2 day trip, what did i buy ahz... some cheap shirts, 1 timberland shoes, and err... can't remember, don't think i bought present for anyone of you except one. Ok, if you wan from HK/Shenzhen, just let me know, i'll bring back something nice for each and everyone of you. If its cheap, ok, take it as a gift from me, if not, hahah, prepare your $$ when i pass it to you.

the peak, think most of you have been/seen this b4. Always in the HK drama and movies

That "inspiring" jh guy. Photo took on the tram going up to the peak.

Hong Kong island, The view from Kowloon

Went to the AIA World carnival, ok lahz, not that huge, but it was fun nonetheless. The ferris wheel operator just chuck me and my fren into this cabin with another couple. Felt so awkward, like its our fault that we've spoilt their romantic night on this cozy night in hk...

We went to Lan Kwai Fong, you know, the happening place in hk, just like our clarke quay. It was really quite happening when we were there, guess what we saw? Paparazzis & red carpet. It is the grand opening of "Fevar", dunno what's that, pub? club? we din go in, but looks like a club i suppose. We saw bouncers escorting the socialites and the celebrities that turned up. Great atmosphere

Everyone there was taking shots after shots; It was a case of "monkey see monkey do" and we ended up taking plenty of shots too -cameras shots, not alcohol. We can only recognise 2 of the VIPs, the rest are socialites or b-list actors/actresses i guess. Quote you these quite cock conversation I had with some of the people in the crowd.

me, "who are these people, celebrities?"

Someone, " dunno, just take the photos"

Someone else, "I think so. I see people take, I also take"

The red carpet/entry to the club

"Hao yi", Xie jin yan, can recognise her from the photo??? what's she doing there as a VIP? drinks? dance? Of all people, they have to invite her. I mean shouldn't you be inviting louis koo? or at least someone synonymous to the clubbing scene? What sort of music they play in there, i wonder...

Cameras, camera, cameras

Ok, That's all for my virgin post. haha, looking forward to my next post?
